Divide your page into Quarters,
Place one interesting natural
form in each frame; Each
frame will use two of the
4 colors; Creative Hint:
one or more parts of the
object passes outside of
frame.
5 Drawing
Soft or 'B' Graphite Pencil,
Observation Skills, Copy
a photo of a complete human
figure - Select an interesting
pose. Instead of first
drawing an outline and filling
in tone, use tone to build
the figure as you fill all
areas.- - Do not draw
outlines first. Make
your total drawing no smaller
than 9x12 page size.

and textures. Use a medium
tone paper. Brown, gray
or blue. Then use a dark
color and a light color
for shadows and highlights

with a Fine Brush. Feature
Line as bright colored strokes.
Expressive color is not
necessarily natural or realistic
but is highly expressive.
