About The Players
Fairmount ND Theatre Guild

Jon Ellingson is appearing in his eighth season with FTG. As he reckons, he has played a Viking, a lumberjack, a private eye, and was a stand-out as the alligator wrestler in “Southern Fried Murder.” Oh yes, Jon has had to wear a dress in a previous show, but says now, thankfully, it’s on the other guy.
Karla Ellingson: Make no mistake Karla is really not a cranky churl but she has no trouble
convincing you in this show. She has been active in FTG since coming to town about 8 years
ago from Minneapolis. She has played a nurse, a psycho, an anti social recluse and now a surly land lady. At home she is none of the above to Jon and family.
Rob Harsh has had his finger in the theatre pie since high school; from Virginia to Texas.
Robb has been active in FTG for the past few years appearing in “Southern Fried Murder” and “Males Order Brides”.
David Jacobson has been an active member of FTG since its inception.
Dave has played many notable roles and is not afraid of being stretched. You may remember him in “Popeye”, “3 ½ Musketeers” and in the role Lucky Eddy in "Hagar the Horrible." Gender
change is not an entirely new entre’ but Dave says, "This time it’s a little “more involved.”
Sandy Meyer really enjoys her involvement in local theatre. Playing roles from “Mom” in “Cheaper by the Dozen,” to con artist and crook. Sandy states that now she is coming a little
closer to reality playing a young, sexy, lady. But caution, guys, Sandy is already taken!
Charles Pinkney claims to have appeared on all the major stages in the twin cities though never
as a head-liner. He has made occassional appearances in FTG since 1989. Charles has one previous directorial credit for “Southern Fried Murder” in the 2000 season. Charles is the web-master for Fairmount-nd.com and teaches art.
Kathy Rugenstein has gradually gotten more involved with the FTG since her first non-speaking role as a patient for “Dastardly Dr. Devereaux” and now she speaks, and a lot more as you see in tonight’s performance. Previous characters include of dance hall girl, murderess and the actress in “Southern Fried Murder.”
Judie Seavert, new to Fairmount and FTG this year, does not waste a moment to become involved with an interest that has ranged from actress to director over the past 20 years. Judie says, “being cast as a middle-aged person this year will be my most challenging role!“
Larry Zillgitt, our “justice of the peace" has been around the FTG a good long while. Although he prefers to avoid the limelight, he has always added a distinctiveness and personality to any of the roles he has taken on.
